Craig Batchelor established Batchelor Recruitment following a career involving senior positions in the transport and employment services industries. In 2000 Craig teamed up with a former colleague, Steve Ellis, combining the operations of Batchelor Recruitment and LSS under the Logistics & Recruitment Support name.
Craig's specific expertise in sales management, client partnerships, employment services and transport & distribution has been developed from both hands-on, operational experience and from various departmental and broader business management roles.
As General Manager Qld for Adecco, Craig focussed on restructuring the operation into a single unit offering the complete range of employment services. Concurrently, Craig moved the business through growth by implementing specific sales and marketing disciplines, supported by service commitment and the development of business-to-business relationships.
During his 20 years with IPEC Craig, as State Manager, was responsible for restructuring the Queensland operations to achieve sustainable profit growth. Specific responsibilities included the recruitment of a new management team, establishment of staff development programs, enterprise bargaining and the development of a customer focussed environment; all while maintaining strong relationships with major customers.
Prior to this Craig was the Queensland Sales Manager for IPEC. Here he successfully introduced the concept of partnering with strategic customers. This included the development of a complete partnership arrangement with Colorado, then Kinney Shoes. This arrangement continues after some eight years. In this position Craig was also responsible for the development and implementation of the sales processes throughout Queensland.
Prior to these appointments, Craig held several management positions for IPEC in North Queensland and Regional Victoria.
